Regional Office and Regional Laboratory PCB Shimla today organised cleanliness and awareness drive on stop using plastic bags and single use plastic. Cleaning of National Highway from Shoghi barrier to Shoghi market was under taken by staff of Regional Office Shimla and Regional Laboratory Shimla. The drive was organised on the eve of International plastic Bag free day celebrrated on 3rd July.
People from Industry of shoghi also participated in this event. Sr Scientific Officer Sanjeev Sharma and Enviroental Engineer Er Lalit Thakur thanked all the participant for making the day successfull. About 500 kg of plastic bags, bottles, single use plastic, glass bottles etc thrown on road side and on the hill of NH was collected and sent MSW plant bharyal. Following official of PCB participated in the clealiness drive Sanjeev Sharma Sr Scientific Officer PCB Sbimla Er Lalit Thakur, Environmental Engineer, Rajinder Kumar Scientific Officer, Deepak Dogra Jee, Meharban Bharti Jee, Kamal Kant JSA, Sanjeev Sharma Sr Lab Assistant , Ashwani Helper, Govind Ram etc.
