Over three months after the bus service was stalled across Haryana to control Covid spread, the state government has allowed private buses to run in four phases with 50 per cent seating capacity.
The private bus services have been allowed to operate for the convenience of the public, but they need to follow standard operating procedures (SoPs) in view of the Covid pandemic,” Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma told The Tribune on Thursday.
The State Transport Commissioner has already issued orders to the ADCs-cum-regional transport authorities to allow the bus services under the Stage Carriage Scheme and enforce SoPs in letter and spirit.
