The Congress today exerted pressure on Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra to notify the Assembly session from July 31 as recommended by the state Cabinet last night and said his queries on the issue were “motivated” and meant to obstruct democracy.
The party has decided to fight the Rajasthan battle politically with leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra today participating in a digital “SpeakUpForDemocracy” campaign which the Congress claimed was top trending in India and number five worldwide.
Within the Congress too, there’s a dominant view to take on the BJP politically which explains the party’s plan to protest outside all Raj Bhawans . However, the state Congress today said it would not participate in the protest.
