Local APG Shimla University announced from the office of Registar of APG Shimla University here on Tuesday that new thirteen job-oriented educational programs have been started from the current academic session of this year. Registrar Dr. R.K. Kaisth said that B.Sc. Apparel production and management, B.Sc. IT, B.Sc.animation, diploma course in fashion design, diploma course in food production, diploma course in food and beverage service, diploma in Indian classical music, BBA in business analytics, M.Sc. physics, M.Sc. chemistry, M.Sc. mathematics, M.Sc. environment science and Ph.D. Computer science engineering educational programs have been inducted in the varsity curriculum from the current academic session. “These are most job-oriented educational programs, which will be beneficiary for the growth of students to grab jobs and creating jobs”, registrar Dr. RK Kaisth added.
Dr. Kaisth added more that such educational programs were remained in high demand from the side of student-community, and after this regular requirement, these new jobs oriented Programs have been started from the current academic session. The vice-chancellor of APG Shimla University, Prof. Dr. Ramesh Kumar Choudhary discussed with the expert committee of the APG Shimla varsity including all chairpersons of different departments, deans and professors in the context of these new educational programs to run the programs in the interest of students.
“We need quality and job-oriented education to empower the present generation to make them job creators not job seekers”, VC prof. Choudhary said.
