A virtual farewell was organised for the outgoing students of the Department of English at Shoolini University on Wednesday.
Vice-Chancellor, Professor P.K. Khosla gave the students life lessons by sharing his experiences of life. The very enthusiastic students of the English department showcased various talents of music, poetry, and dance through recorded videos. The juniors showcased their skills to seniors and wished them luck for the coming future.
The graduating batch shared their three-year journey at campus with moist eyes. Though it was a virtual farewell, the emotions paved its way at various moments. Going down the memory lane, the students and the teachers had tears filled in their eyes.
Dr. Purnima Bali, Assistant Professor, Department of English, who anchored the function, said that nothing in this world is meant to stay forever and something new always keeps coming by on our way. So we have to embrace the future with open arms and forget the past for we have already given it a fair chance.
Prof. Manju Jaidka, Prof. Kesari Singh and Mr Neeraj Pizar expressed their emotions, shared their life experiences with everyone and wished for the bright future of the batch. Prof Pratip Mazumdar, Ms Prachi Kapil, Prof. Kuldeep Rojhe, Prof. Narender Verma and Mr. Amar Rao also interacted with the graduating students and wished them a great future ahead
