Special Vaccination Drive by SJVN was successfully organised today by SJVN Limited at Shakti Sadan, Corporate Headquarters (CHQ), Shimla, where 500 persons have been vaccinated. The benefitted individuals included SJVN employees, contractual workers deployed by various contractors, security personnel & staff, eligible members of their families and people from the vicinity. This is in addition to 1700 people who were recently vaccinated during 3-day Special Vaccination Drive at SJVN Shimla.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman and Managing Director, SJVN said that these Special Vaccination Drives, will help in accelerated eradication of the pandemic. Our priority is to get our employees, their families and all associated with us to be safe and vaccinated at the earliest.
In line with the above objective, more Special Vaccination Drives have been planned on 16th & 17th June 2021 at 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station and on 18th & 19th June 2021 at 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station. Approx. 3000 persons are expected to be vaccinated at both the places. Vaccination Camp in Hamirpur by Dhaulasidh Hydro Electric Project is also being scheduled shortly where 200 people are expected to be vaccinated.
This Special Vaccination Drive has been organized in collaboration with Fortis Healthcare, Mohali. The Doctors and Para-Medical staff from Project Hospitals of SJVN have also been actively associated in successful organization of this Vaccination Drive.
